We know you know, but natural doesn't always mean harmless. Pregnant or nursing mothers, or anyone on any medication/with a pre-existing medical condition should always consult a health professional about any dietary restrictions. Prepared in a kitchen that may also prepare tree-nuts, ground nuts and seeds.

About the EOS blend:

"Goddess of the dawn, Eos opens the gates for Apollo to ride his Chariot of the Sun into a new day" , quotes Australian herbalist Shannon Davidson.

Buchu, a potent anti-inflammatory herb native to Southern Africa provides both a powerful diuretic action and beautiful current/mint flavour. Moringa is a nutritive workhorse (one of, if not the most nutrient dense plants on the planet) that carries adaptogens Astragalus, Rhodiola and Tulsi to do their most important work to bring the body back to balance and homeostasis. Lemongrass and Ginger round everything out with a gorgeous lift to the palate and a push to the circulatory and digestive systems.

Ingredients:

Buchu (Agathosma betulina) leaf, Moringa (Moringa oliefera) leaf, *Tulsi (Ocimum sactum) leaf, *Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon citratus) aerials, *Astragalus (Astragalus propinquus) root, *Ginger (Zingiber officinale) root, *Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) root.

*Certified Organic.

Source: Local and imported

Directions:

Serve hot or chilled (in the warmer weather serve chilled to start the day). Place 1 heaped teaspoon per cup of nearly boiling water and steep for 6 minutes or longer if you prefer a stronger tea.

The best way to prepare iced tea is to first brew hot, then reuse the leaves a second (and maybe a third) time, then cool. Keep for 4 days refrigerated.
