SIZE & CARE GUIDE

Clothing should feel comfortable, considered and easy to live in. We favour natural fibres, garments with ease in the cut, and handmade shoes designed to be worn season after season.

This guide is here to help you select your size, then care for each piece so it can be worn, washed, mended and kept.

NOTES BEFORE SELECTING

Lay a similar garment flat and compare the key points. This is often the most reliable way to understand how a garment will sit on your body.

BUST

Measure around the fullest part of your chest with your arms relaxed.

WAIST

Measure around the narrowest point of your natural waistline.

HIP

Measure around the widest part of your natural hipline.

LENGTH

For shirts, tops, dresses, jackets and coats, measure from the high shoulder point (HPS) to the hem. For skirts, measure from the centre-front waist to the level hem. For pants, measure the outside seam length from waist to hem.

SIZE TABLES

Use the size tables below as a guide for our womenswear and shoe collections. Compare them with the measurements noted within each product description and with your own individual measurements to find the best fit for you.

CARE FOR EACH PIECE

Always follow the care label first. These notes are a gentle guide for the fibres and shoes we return to most often.

LINEN & COTTON

Wash cool and gently with similar colours. Avoid harsh detergents and tumble drying where possible. Line dry in the shade and press while slightly damp for a smoother finish.

WOOL & CASHMERE

Air between wears and wash only when needed. Use a cool hand wash or specialist wool cycle if the care label allows. Dry flat, away from direct heat, to help preserve shape.

SILK

Handle lightly. Use a cool, gentle hand wash or dry clean when recommended. Do not wring; press excess water in a towel and dry in shade.

GARMENT NOTES

Read the product description for fit cues such as oversized, neat, relaxed, cropped or designed for layering.

SHOE CARE

Allow leather shoes to rest between wears, protect suede where appropriate, and avoid drying near direct heat.

STORAGE

Store knitwear folded, hang woven pieces with room to breathe, and keep silk away from direct sunlight.
