Quantity:

A miniature bronze of a young girl on roller skates, signed Grundmann and attributed to the German sculptor B. Grundmann, circa 1910–1930.

Leaning forward with her arms outstretched, she captures a delightful moment of concentration and balance. Her buttoned jacket, softly flared skirt and little cap are carefully modelled, with fine details extending to the wheels beneath her skates.

The bronze has a rich brown patina, with warmer highlights accentuating her face, hands and clothing. A polished green stone plinth provides a beautiful contrast to the figure’s lively movement. Small enough to sit among favourite books or treasured objects, she rewards a closer look.

Signed on the bronze base.
