A beautiful dish crafted from Seto porcelain, also known as Tamba Tachikui pottery. This porcelain incense dish carries a legacy of over 850 years. The Tamba kiln, one of Japan's six ancient kilns, has been used since the Heian period and is still run by two generations of artisans. The unique texture is created as pinewood ash from the kiln naturally fuses with the clay and glaze during firing.
