A pair of Italian vintage painted tole candle sconces, circa 1960. Curling stems weave through a generous arrangement of ivy leaves, each shaped and veined to catch the light. Two candle cups rise from ivory flower-shaped drip trays, nestled among the foliage.

The varied greens have a lovely depth, balanced by the warm cream of the winding metalwork. Wear to the painted finish reveals darker metal beneath, lending texture and a gently weathered character.

Beautiful flanking a mirror or painting, the pair brings a botanical elegance to a room, with or without candles.

Each sconce holds two taper candles. Surface wear and paint loss as shown. Sold as a pair.
